More concussions in youth football games than practice
A new study found that 8- to 12-year-olds who play tackle football have significantly more concussions during games than practice. The majority of concussions involved helmet-to-helmet contact. Overall, the boys were 26 times more likely to suffer a concussion during a game (vs. practice).
