New technology sends antibodies through blood-brain barrier
The results of the Roche-designed Brain Shuttle technology, a means of efficiently transferring investigational antibodies from the blood through the blood-brain barrier into the brain, may be big news in the fight against Alzheimer’s. By transferring antibodies through the barrier, scientists were able to reduce amyloids in a mouse’s brain.
