Childhood cognition may predict dementia risk later in life
Researchers looked at 502 people born in the same week in 1946 who had taken cognitive tests at age 8 and again at ages 69-71. They found that childhood cognition was a good predictor of dementia later in life, even when other factors were taken into consideration.
