Fasting may benefit the brain
A recent article in The New England Journal of Medicine reports that intermittent fasting may benefits the brain by decreasing blood pressure, resting heart rates and blood lipid levels. More specifically, intermittent fasting “augments associative, spatial and working memory in animals, as well as verbal memory in adults.”
