Dementia types revealed in walking pattern
A new analysis of the walking patterns in people with two types of dementia has revealed identifiable gaits between those with Alzheimer’s and Lewy body dementia. The researchers found that people with Lewy body dementia often changed the length of their step or how long it took them to take a step. By contrast, people with Alzheimer’s rarely changed their walking patterns.
