Fall-related TBIs among elderly have increased drastically
A study out of Finland has found that traumatic brain injuries from falls have had huge increases. In 1970, the numbers were 60 women and 25 men. In 2011, the numbers were 1,205 women and 612 men (per 100,000 people).
