When you develop diabetes and high BP affects brain later
New research from the Mayo Clinic shows that people who develop high blood pressure and diabetes in middle age (40 to 64) are more likely to have brain cell loss and other damage (including problems with thinking skills and memory) to the brain later in life compared to those who developed the issues later (after age 65) or who never develop diabetes and high blood pressure.
